Box 2-2-1612 1006 & 1008 Channel Rd
  Then first due engine 203 would arrive first due to another fully involved fire floor in a wood frame private dwelling at 1006 Channel Rd & E10th Rd. With only 3 crew members, the BCVFD knocked most of the fire down on the 2nd floor and were able to contain the fire to the original fire building and the invloved exposure. FDNY was heavily delayed, and Eng Co 265 from Far Rockaway would arrive only to find out that their rig would not go in to pump. Had it not been for the BCVFD, much of the entire row of homes on Channel Rd would have been a total loss.
