Crash of Flight #587 Box 5-5-1398
  Pictured is one of the engines of the 767 Airbus that landed on the rear of this house on Beach 128st between Newport Ave & Cronston Ave in Belle Harbor on Nov 12th, 2001. Eng 201 was the 4th engine to arrive on scene and operated at this 3 story Queen Anne wood frame private dwelling which was nearly fully involved along with the detached garage and 26 foot boat that were also fully involved. The entire rear area of the operation was engulfed by flaming jet fuel. Eng 203 and Amb 302 operated as well. It took 3 hrs to extinguish.
